Hollantilainen Jan Hein Donner, joka ei itse sietänyt valokuvaajia, kertoo: "He (Fischer) is not the only one with a fierce dislike of being spied on during his games. Ståhlberg personally knocked down many a snap-shooter in his time and I myself would gladly have done the same on occasion, if I had only dared."
